The Jesus Reboot
We need a realignment, refocus, a reboot to prepare us to reach this world.
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.-John 6:35
The people wanted another miracle to get free food. Jesus is saying that He is true nourishment.
“It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”-Matt 4:4
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”- John 8:12
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.- Matt 5:14-16
We are to be salt and light. Salt makes things better. Light makes things brighter.
Q. In your workplace or your family? Are you making things better and brighter or do you conform to “the way things are”?
I AM the Good Shepherd.
He attributes to himself a title that David gave to the Lord in Psalm 23:1. Jesus also alludes in John 10 about being the author of abundant life to Psalm 23:6. Look at the similarities.
(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” ) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;-Romans 4:17
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.- Isaiah 55:11 NLT
The Kingdom of God
Three Ways to Participate in the Kingdom of God
For the past few weeks Pastor Will has been preaching on The Kingdom of God. That’s a broad spectrum topic that’s a mile wide and a mile deep; but he is breaking it down for us to digest. If you missed any of it, you can watch or listen on Podbean or YouTube.
Today though I want to share with you some thoughts on your participation in the Kingdom of God. Jesus did His part. He took on his back the sin of the world, yours and mine and paid the price in blood. He rose from the grave and is seated in Heavenly places at the right hand of the Father. This is not a spectator Kingdom, no it’s a get involved, don’t hold back, sold out, operating in grace kind of Kingdom. The Holy Spirit empowers us to take charge of in the full resources of the Kingdom of God. You see we are called to be salt and light to the world. Salt makes things better, light makes things brighter.

The Hope of the World
The Hope of the World
What is the hope of all the world? Is it green agendas? Clean energy? More social tolerance? Is it more education? Is it more government programs? Is it more medical knowledge and supplies?
No the hope of all the world is a organic organization that started 2000 years ago. It is commonly known today as the local church. You see Jesus didn’t start an earthly kingdom. The Kingdom of God is here and now amongst us. Jesus instituted and empowered a local body of believers to carry out his love, compassion, commands and he’s given us the Holy Spirit in order to change this world.

Mount Everest is the tallest and most prominent mountain on the face of the earth. It towers to the cruising height of a 747 aircraft at 29,032 feet. Even its basecamp in Nepal starts at 17,598 feet. Not everyone who starts the accent to the top of Mount Everest makes it. Many have to turn back or have even died on the perilous journey. Much of life and our Christian walk can feel the same way.
